Beautiful Medallion

Good afternoon,

It was a special birthday for my mom on the weekend (I wont say what year she was celebrating). We threw her a surprise party that wasn't too much of a surprise for her but I know she had a good time. This weekend was also my soccer championships, we didn't win any games but I scored a goal and considering that was only my second one of the season it was pretty exciting. My summer season is over which is sad for me but winter league is just around the corner...just not soon enough. lol

On to the card, this is the card that I made for my mom's birthday. I'm really happy with the way it turned out and discovered if you don't have sponge's around and don't want to walk all the way upstairs to get some, Kleenex will work too. I had been waiting a while to get the Medallion stamp and finally received it last week. After I saw this card I knew I HAD to make one similar. I hope you like it, thanks for stopping by.

Stamp Set: Medallion, sentiment non-SU

Pretty Daisy

How many days in a row is this? I'm impressed with myself. I have more coming too.
I really like the Daisies die from the big shot. You can do a lot of layers with different colours which is fun. You can't read the sentiment too well because of the picture but you can in real life. I love So Saffron and Old Olive together...I didn't use to be a yellow fan.
Hope you like and thanks for stopping by.

Stamp Set:
Ink: So Saffron, Old Olive
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, So Saffron, Tall Tales DSP
Accessories: Daisies big shot die, oval punch, Very Vanilla Button Bouquet

Razzle Dazzle

Hey Stampers!

I made up a bunch of thank you cards for the people who attended my open house and placed an order. I always like to include a thank you card in the order to show my appreciation as well to show what can be created with Stampin Up product. I try to make them as simple as possible. This is what I came up with. The card matches the colour scheme that we used for the make n' takes that day. I used the Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon but instead of seeing the polka dots I revesed it.

Half way through the week! Hope you are having a good one.

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle, Elegan Thank You
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Rich Razzleberry Polka Dot Ribbon (reversed), Square scallop punch (not SU)

Halloween Scrapbook Box

Morning Stampers,

Well after I post that it hasn't been feeling like summer yesterday turned out to be a pretty warm day. Probably the first time we've used the air this year.

I was going through my craft room and came across this Halloween DSP. I know it's Stampin Up paper but I have no idea what catalogue it's from and what it is called. It isn't double sided so I know it's a little old. I wanted to make another scrapbook box using this DSP. I also had some K& Company 3D stickers that I wanted to use up as well. I discovered a lot of stuff that I've bought over the years from Michaels and other craft stores that haven't even been opened. I should really set a goal to use that stuff up or give it away.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!!

Stamp Set: Booglie Eves (retired)
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Halloween DSP
Accessories: Basic Black ribbon, brad, I 3/8'' circle punch, key tag punch (retired) K&Company stickers

Christmas in August

Morning Stampers,

Since it doesn't feel like summer I thought that I would make a Christmas card. I saw this one from Dawn's blog and just had to try one. It was pretty easy, only this is that I don't have any current catalogue Christmas paper yet so I used last year's. I love making Christmas cards, I probably spend more time creating Christmas cards then any other kind of card. The stamp set that I used for the front is one of my favourites that came out in the last catalogue. I was so happy to see it return.

Thanks for checking in, hope you enjoy!

Stamp Set: Holiday Lineup, Heard from the Heart
Ink: Black Stazon, Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Caramel, Real Red, Old Olive
Paper: Whisper White, Ski Sloop DSP
Accessories: Window Sheet, Chocolate Chip ribbon

Scrapbook Box

Afternoon Stampers!
I've been blog surfing today trying to get inspiration. There are so many talented people out there. I cased a few things and over the next few days will be sharing them with you. I am anxiously waiting for my next order to arrive so that I can start using the in colours more.

So today I'm sharing a scrapbook box that I found from Roxy's blog. Look to the right for her blog. I used the tall tales DSP and I'm pretty happy with the end result.

Thanks for stopping by hope you like!

Open House Fun!

Good Morning!

Thank you to everyone who joined me on Saturday for my open house. I had a lot of fun and hope you did too. Today's post is what we did at the open house. All last week leading up to it I kept trying to come up with ideas as to what we were going to make. I knew I wanted to use a new stamp set and the new in problem, I had the ink for the in colours and some DSP but I forgot to order cardstock on my last order. Thank goodness for the Idea book, I was able to look at what other colours where in my DSP and went from there. I hope you like, I was pretty proud of the end result. I also filled bags with candy to put in the box.

Thanks for stopping by!
