Happy Mother's Day!!!

First I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there and a special one to my own mother. She is the best and I couldn't have asked for a more thoughtful, selfless and kind mother.

So, I kept seeing on other people's blogs the flower pot card. I read the tutorial and was still a little clueless, thankfully I found a video over at Dawn's Stamping Studio. Turns out it wasn't as hard as I thought it was so I made about 3 of these cards. It's definitely something different and creative....sadly I wasn't the creative one who came up with it. I always got to play with my big shot for the flowers, I love this thing. I hope you enjoy!

Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Rose Red, Regal Rose, So Saffron, Creamy Caramel

Top Note Box

Hello there,

I finally got myself a big shot!!! And, I finally got to play around with it. Leading up to this purchase I saw all the wonderful things that I could make using some of the dies. I purchase the Big Shot Starter kit and one of the dies you get in it is the Top Note. I saw this box here and had to make it. What do you think? There will be more to come, I plan on using the Big Shot a lot. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Thank You

First I want to start off by sharing some exciting news. I scored my first goal in Soccer yesterday. This is only my second year but it was a long time coming. I also received my first bruise of the season. Now, onto cardmaking. I made some quick and easy 3x3 note cards for my family and friends that attended my first workshop. I received 2 big brown boxes today which always makes for a great day. I will be putting a card in each bag with a little note thanking them for their support. I'd like to give a little shout out to my mom and aunt who came and ordered something even though paper crafts really isn't their thing....I'm working on them though. Hope everyone had a great day!
