New DSP

You don't this about me....or maybe you do......but I am in love with elephants. I'm not sure what it is about them, it could be that they are so big and I am really small. I have tons of elephant stuff around my house....almost every room has something. Anyway, I was super excited to see that one of the new DSP packs had elephants all over it so of course I had to get it. I have yet to get the matching stamp set but that will be soon. I'm having a hard time letting go of the Wild About You stamp set that was retired....this helps. :)

I found the tutorial for this box here, instead of using the coluzzle I just used the wide oval punch. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!

Guess Who

Well I hope this is the beginning of more consistent posts. It's amazing, where did all the time go? I was working on a 30 plus page scrapbook for my aunt and uncle's 25th anniversary. That consumed a lot of my time and sadly I didn't take a lot of pictures of it.....since then I've been trying to get my craft room back to normal. I have worked on a few things this week and will definitely have more posts for you. Thank you for being patient...my mom says she was tired of looking at my last post. lol

I was trying to get my card making mojo back so I had a look throught the newest catalogue for inspiration and this is what I came up with. The only thing I really chaged up was the colours. Thanks for checking in! I'll be back.

Hello Stampers,
I'm sharing another card I made a little while ago. I cased it from Zindors's blog. I love what she does. I need to work on my brayer technique. This set is retired, it was in a mini-catalogue last year. Hope you like. :) I'm hoping to post something for you tomorrow but I'm going to Ikea and don't know if I'll have time to. Our basement is just about finished and I'm moving my huge craft table downstaires for when I have classes and would like a new desk for my craft room. They have so many options to choose from at Ikea....can't wait to go.

Today I'm sharing with you something I made a while back, I saw it in a paper crafts magazine probably a year ago. I can't remember the name of the 2 blue colours I used here. Pretty Scrapbook Pages

I just love these pages that I made, I think there are so pretty. Glitter is so much fun and I really like it around the edges of the butterflies. The butterflies are dies from the Big Shot. Fun Colour Combo

I saw this colour combo on splitcoaststampers. I love the green and purple together. My living room is close to this green and we have a couch from Ikea that I think is brown but others argue that it's purple which is ok because I think they look nice together. Hot Day

It was a hot one today in London. I went out on lunch to read a book outside and it was so nice and hot. I hope you were able to take some time and enjoy it as well. Over the next 4 days I'm going to be in Toronto for work. I was prepared this time and have planned my posts a head of time. This way I wont be away from this for another month. I haven't played around too much with this set so I thought I would pull it out today. I love watercolouring but I don't think I'm that great at it but like anything practice makes perfect.
