Gift Box

Hey Stampers,

Sorry I missed you yesterday, I ran out of time to post this. This is a little gift box and in the second picture you'll see that when you lift the lid a message appears. I thought it was cute. I stamped the frest cuts stamp in whisper white and the embossed with clear embossing powder. I stamped and embossed the image 4 times and then cut out different part of the image to place around the box. On the bottom I glued 4 pearls from the pretties kit.

Mini Scrapbook

Hey Stampers,

So this is the mini scrapbook that I've been working on for a little while. I got the front of this scrapbook idea from Kimberly Van Diepen at Stampin by the Sea blog. I used a stencil with stencil paste like material that adds a little 3D effect. Sponged with bordering blue ink and then added some dazzling diamond with the 2 way glue pen. To cut out the base I used my big shot with the Scallop Square die. I sponged all the edges with Chocolate Chip ink. You may notice that this is retired DSP. I have lots of left overs so I'm trying to use it up. Let me know what you think I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for checking in!

We had a very beautiful weekend here in London. It was nice to see the sun shining all weekend. Today I spent the day working on a mini scrapbook that I will be showing you tomorrow.

What's the buzzzzz?

Good morning Stampers,

How many of you are watching the Olympics. I love the Olympics, and have been staying up late to catch as many of the events that are on. I have seen some pretty amazing athletes.

On to today's card. I recently got the Sweet Pea DSP pack. It comes with tons of double sided designer paper to choose from and it all goes together. This is my own little creation that I came up with. It's hard to see in the picture but I embossed the hive and bee on watercolour paper and then used makers and the watercolour pen to fill them in.

Fox and Friends

This is a new stamp set from the Occasions Mini Catalogue called Fox and Friends. I love using it with bright colours. I saw this card on Mary Jo Albright's blog. She did a little extra with hers but I didn't have the DSP she used.

Girly Card

Good morning Stampers,

Today's card is the card that I gave my boyfriend for Valentine's day. It's a little girly but it was the closest card to the Valentine's theme that I had on hand. He liked it but said that it was a bit girly. The colours I used Kiwi Kiss and Pink Pirouette are last year's in colours but I love them with this set and I had to DSP to use up. The stamp set is called Friends 24-7 and I love playing around with it.

Inspiration

Good evening Stampers,

I sat down yesterday and spent the entire day in my craft room. I completed 10 cards (5 designs). I always like to make at least 2 of each of the designs, one to keep and one to give away. Over the next little while I'll be sharing these cards with you. My title today is called inspiration and the reason for that is because today's card was inspired by a Valentine's card my mommy gave me. I thought it was really pretty. The card she gave me is on the left and the one I made is on the right. It's hard to see but i used a texture plate on the front. Hope you like and thanks for stopping by!
