Wild About You

I love this stamp set and it's probably because there is an elephant in the set. I LOVE elephants. I thought that I would incorporate 2 things that I love, elephants and my nephews. 2 of my nephews will be turning 2 this weekend. It's amazing how fast time goes. I miss the days when I could hold them in my arms without them trying to get away. Back to the card, I really like this one, I'll have to make a couple of them to have on hand. Hope you like it as much as I do.

Upcoming Class

Hello,

It's the end of another weekend. What a beautiful weekend. It was so nice to be able to spend some time outside. I had my first workshop on Saturday and I'd like to thank everyone who came. We had a lot of fun making a gable box but I'll show a picture of the one we made hopefully tomorrow. Today I'm showing a card that will be part of a class I'll be having next month. I will post the details of the class soon. Hope you enjoy!

Gable Box

I thought that for today I would show you something other than a card. I've had the template for a gable box for quite some time but haven't really done anything with it until today. I had originally put a belly band around the box but that didn't work out so I went on to plan b. This is similiar to one that I will be showing at my first workshop. Thanks for stopping by to have a look. :)

Good Morning Sunshine

It wasn't such a sunny day today. I don't know about where you are but today it rained for most of the day. I don't mind so much as it was Monday and I was at work anyway. Today's title has to do with the designer series paper that I used today. I also used the build-a-brad kit. I really like it because I'm always trying to add a little emblishment to match my card but if I don't happen to have one on hand I can just make my own. Hope you enjoy!

Masculine Card

Today I thought I would work on a masculine card. I don't seem to make enough of them. I recently purchased the And Many Mower set from the Occasions mini catalogue and thought I should play with it. I cased this card from Lisa's blog, the only thing I added was a brad for the golf ball. I really like the way it turned out. Thanks for having a look. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday. :)

Scrapbook Pages

I thought today I would show you a 2 page layout that I worked on over the weekend. I don't know why but it seems to take me forever to come up with a page layout. I was hoping to have 8 pages completed on Sunday but only completed 4 and started 2 more. I hope you like, thanks for having a look.

It's Monday

Back to work after a nice long weekend. I was happy to see the sun out all weekend long. After work today I'm off to Toronto for a 2 day meeting. I've set up one post for when I'm gone but hoping to post again when I get back.

Today's card is using a colour combination that I didn't think would work but I think that they look really nice together.

Tried a Zindorf

Sorry I missed you yesterday, I'm not really sure where the day went. I got all my house cleaning done which I'm happy about. It smells nice and clean.

I saw a card like this on Zindorf blog. She is amazing with sponges and the brayer. I'm happy with the way mine turned out but have to admit that her card is 10x's better. You can find a link to her blog on the right.

Hope you are enjoying your Easter weekend with your family, I know I am. :)

TGI....Thursday?

I'm so happy that I don't have to work tomorrow. It will be nice to just relax and do a few things around the house like clean. Why is it when I get time off the first thing I want to do is clean. Anyway, I recently received a nice package from the man in brown and thought I would play around with some of the stuff I ordered. This is from the Occassions Mini Catalogue and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it.

Favourite New Stamp Set

The sun is shining again!!!!! Does anyone else feel like their in a better mood when the sun is out? I'm trying to keep that happy mood while listening to loud tools. My basement is being finished and it's not exactly a quiet job. I have lots of new stamps to hopefully keep me busy while it's going on.

This is one of my favourite new sets from Stampin' Up. It is so versitile and I seem to be using it a lot lately. Hope you enjoy!!!

This is a card I just made for fun. I love kiwi kiss and basic black together. I think that they just look so elegant together. This was made with the Baroque Motifs stamp set.
